FIRE SAFE WALL

Thermal loss and fire are hand in glove. Fire spreads heat, heat causes combustion, and the energy code is written to stop the same heat from leaving the building. Both codes are aimed at the slab edge, so we answer them with one assembly.

The WDSA™ is the Decoupled-CW™. With no vertical spanning from one floor to the next, nothing in the wall carries heat from floor to floor. That cuts thermal loss at every slab and keeps fire and smoke more segregated level to level.

The evolution has arrived. The WDSA™ grew into the PortalWall® SEA™, one assembly that collects and drains water, carries the fascia, thermal modules, and spanning diaphragm, and enables the Within-Wall™ Cavity.

The SEA™ is also the water source for our DelugeWall™, which wets the enclosure surfaces and is designed to keep them from combusting.

Protection travels with the wall itself, from the extruder to the field.
