Resilience by Design.
Our CFD analysis confirms a simple but powerful principle: maintain slight positive pressure at the enclosure zone. This ensures that interior air stays inside and outside air stays outside—reducing vapor ingress and blocking storm-driven air even where minor deficiencies exist.
Positive pressure drives controlled exfiltration, closing off infiltration paths and limiting vapor flow into the assembly.
Engineered airflow, combined with built-in drainage, keeps storm-driven water out while stabilizing interior temperature and humidity.
By retaining water vapor—and the latent energy it carries—within occupied spaces, PortalWall® reduces vapor flow, conserves energy, and creates more resilient, longer-lasting structures with lower maintenance demands.
Living and working environments remain stable, healthy, and secure—regardless of a storm’s path or intensity.
This is the promise of PortalWall® & Active-Wall™: preparation built in, resilience by design.

PortalWall® has 2 Main Components. This new MC²™ LOGO isn’t just a marketing concept—it’s real, officially realized on August 14, 2025. We’ve added a touch of showmanship in color, font, and style, aligning ourselves with the great minds of history. Tipping our Hat to Dr. Albert Einstein and to Nikola Tesla, the path to true innovation is built on simplicity, single-truth thinking, high tension thinking—focused, high-stakes problem solving. That spirit is what made PortalWall® possible.
— Yonatan Zvi Margalit · Inventor & Owner - August 14, 2025
PortalWall® is a carefully engineered exterior wall assembly with extreme energy efficiency and multiple built-in advanced features, protected by both granted and pending filings. It combines the most proven design elements from multiple CSI categories, integrating principles from 07 42 43 – Composite Wall Panels and 08 46 00 — Window Wall Assemblies and 08 44 13 – Glazed Aluminum Curtain Walls & 05 40 00 – Cold-Formed Metal Framing
The system merges the efficiency of COMPOSITE WALL PANELS with the detailing of high-performance architectural façades, utilizing a PortalSteel™ design that promotes airflow, buoyancy, and interstitial drying. This design feature was imagined by Yonatan Z. Margalit and developed using pre-engineered cold formed metal framing, located on the dry side, with published values, recognizing an opportunity to promote airflow where others saw only a means to reduce thermal bridging, resulting in an unexpected and non-obvious benefit, patents were filed.
Delivered as the PortalWall® WDSA™ (Water Draining Spandrel Assembly), it eliminates all verticals, passively absorbs energy, reduces condensation risk and enables us to Outsulate™ continuously, uniquely in full compliance with modern energy codes.

PortalWall® — Why It’s Verifiable and Ready to Perform
Every major component of PortalWall® comes from a CSI-recognized category with published, lab-certified performance values. This means architects, owners, and investors can confirm claims against existing ASTM/ISO test data — ensuring the system is proven in the lab and ready to deliver in the field.
Division 07 – 07 42 43 – Composite Wall Panels
Factory-insulated, metal-faced panels with published R-values, fire ratings, and durability certifications.
Division 08 – 08 44 13 – Glazed Aluminum Curtain Walls / 08 46 00 – Window Wall Assemblies
Spanning assemblies with documented structural capacity, air/water infiltration resistance, and integration performance.
Division 05 – 05 40 00 – Cold-Formed Metal Framing
Structural framing elements with published load tables and span charts.
By integrating these proven components, PortalWall® delivers:
Certified thermal performance
Verified structural capacity
Documented fire and weather resistance
Predictable installation outcomes
The result: A high-performance enclosure that is verifiable, deployable, and ready to perform — in the lab or in the field.
PortalWall® Parallels™ — Permanent Alignment
The Secret Sauce - Born in 2017 - PATENTS APPLIED FOR & GRANTED
To deliver multiple benefits from a single assembly, every performance element must operate in parallel — resisting nature’s forces while staying perfectly balanced. In PortalWall®, the Thermal Layer, Vapor Layer, and Structural Layer are fused together inside one factory-built envelope.
Why We Do It Better
In conventional assemblies, these layers are often built separately — each installed at a different stage, by different trades, with different tolerances. This leads to misalignment, hidden weaknesses, and performance drift over time.
PortalWall® solves that from day one. The layers are born together in the factory, precisely aligned without heat, chemistry, or metallurgy, Because they start as one, they stay as one — for the life of the building.
The result is consistent, uncompromised performance: no separation, no degradation, and no surprises.
Permanent alignment means permanent reliability.
July 25, 2025 - THERM Analysis Summary
A full thermal analysis was conducted using LBNL’s industry-standard THERM software, confirming that the PortalWall® assembly exhibits zero condensation risk under design conditions.
Even at outdoor temperatures as low as 0°F, interior surface temperatures remain well above the dew point, ensuring dry, mold-resistant performance.
This superior result is attributed to the system’s underlying thermal logic—most notably, the elimination of vertical framing members, which are typically weak points in conventional facade systems. By removing these thermal bridges and integrating strategically placed heat sink and insulation layers, PortalWall® achieves a high-performance envelope that manages both energy and moisture with exceptional reliability.
PortalWall®: Built to Withstand, Designed to Perform in every CLIMATE ZONE
PortalWall®, with its advanced spandrel assembly, makes high-performance façade design not only possible—but inevitable.
No volume of rainwater PLUS wind pressure, will cause it to fail.
It’s rigid, it’s reliable, and it’s all tried and true—built on tested materials, patented logic, and real-world performance.
It’s engineered to channel, protect, and perform under the harshest conditions.
Thanks to our now patent-pending PortalWall® + Parallels™ configuration, we can integrate best-in-class thermal modules while keeping the assembly cool, dry, and structurally sound. Moisture stays out. Heat flows the way we want it to. Everything works in harmony.
This is DESIGN WISDOM.
PortalWall® was lab tested before it was conceived, built upon the proven performance of a Kingspan QuadCore® 4-inch-deep insulated panel—but improved upon, a panel with published thermal and structural data. From this strong foundation, the system was continuously improved and validated.
The true breakthrough lies in the patented enhancements described in U.S. Patent No. 10,329,758 B2—my first granted patent. These innovations structurally reinforce the panel without compromising its core integrity.
In fact, the design is so precisely engineered that the original manufacturer's warranty remains fully intact and carries forward with the PortalWall® system.
No Accommodations. No compromise. Just improvement.

Improved in every way — yet more economical than ever.
PortalWall® Is the critical layer Passive House often overlooks—the dynamic, structural, performance-enhancing core that ties everything together.
Designed by a practical engineering mind with a holistic view, cost careful, PortalWall® solves what others neglect:
Passive House is a target. PortalWall® is the only path to massive deployement without Value Engineering Risk.
It doesn’t just comply—it improves, integrates, and elevates.
So next time you hear “Passive House,” remember:
PortalWall® is what makes it real.
